Why publishing contraindications is a brand act
Most food supplement brands minimise or omit contraindications to avoid reducing their addressable market. BPC makes the opposite choice: publishing complete contraindications, clearly written, accessible before purchase. This transparency is consistent with the BPC philosophy — beauty that proves itself — and with the regulatory obligation to mention known interactions for actives at clinical doses.
LIPOSLIM™ contraindications
Do not use in case of: pregnancy or breastfeeding (presence of HCA and stimulating thermogenics); oral anticoagulant treatment (piperine may modify the absorption of certain medications); antidiabetic or hypoglycaemic treatment (chromium at 198 µg may potentiate the hypoglycaemic effect); thyroid hormonal treatment (plant iodine presents a potential interaction); allergy to plants of the Zingiberaceae family (Grains of Paradise). If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting a course.
LYMPHEA™ contraindications
Do not apply to: broken, irritated skin, sunburn or active eczema (retinol may aggravate existing skin irritations); areas undergoing dermatological medical treatment. Precautions with 0.3% retinol: avoid direct sun exposure on treated areas within 6 hours of application (photosensitisation); not recommended during pregnancy (category C for topical retinol according to SCCS recommendations). Retinol encapsulation in LYMPHEA™ reduces the risk of irritation compared to free retinol, but gradual introduction is recommended (start with 3 applications per week before increasing to daily).
